The restaurant is very cozy, food was fast to come out of the kitchen, HOT, and delicious - better than any other place we've tried in alex/del ray.
The staff were also very kind.
Most notably, you can get a decent amount of food for $20 meal (we were stuffed and still brought home leftovers).
Will definitely be coming back!!

The food is good American Chinese food.
The portions are normal American sizes.
The hot and sour soup was fine.
The egg roll was terrible.
The chicken and broccoli was fine.
The home style tofu also fine.
The best dishes were the eggplant and the chicken with peppers in a black bean sauce.
The shrimp egg foo young was also classic Americana.
Fried rice also good.
Overall a solid place to go for American Chinese food.
There are not that many tables indoors and out and the atmosphere is perhaps more diner than restaurant.
But they have a booth by the window, if you have anyone who loves a booth by the window.
The money tree is also tall and in good shape.
The staff are helpful and speak Chinese.
There were many orders for takeout so this must be a regular spot for the locals.

We did take out.
What impressed us most was that the food was definitely healthier than most Chinese take-out.
A good example is their fried rice.
Less salt.
Less oil.
It seemed much lighter and fresher.
The veggies seemed fresh, not frozen.
Not mushy.
