Visited the area for a few hours and conducted a quick search for local pizza! So glad we stumbled upon this place because the pizza was delicious!!! Fresh, not greasy, and flavorful.Speed of service was good for a Saturday, and we enjoyed our time in this spot! Will definitely add this to our list of places to enjoy when in the area! They allow 1/2 and 1/2 even with their specialty pizzas and also have the option for personal smaller sized pizzas for the kiddos! Can't beat it!
Bugsy's is a pretty chill place to hang out with friends and family.For a sports bar, the food is pretty dang good.I wouldn't say they are among the best pizza places in the area but they certainly beat out the food of any sports bar in Alexandria. I would also say that their outdoor seating is the best spot for people watching.Get yourself a high-top table along the promenade and enjoy the crowd.Maybe you will even get a glimpse of the Batman dude walking around. My buddy says this place has been here forever so it sounds like it is a local favorite which means the business brings joy to people.So I am very much supportive of that.
Please do not never ever go to this place and eat. We ordered two pizzas to go today, and we took it outside and after eating half way through our friend freaked out and throw the slice, and said it has something, when we checked there was a cockroach 🪳 in it.And we stopped eating and took the pizza to the restaurant, but when we got there and talk to the manager the response was so disrespectful and unexpected.He was saying that he believes that we put the cockroach on the pizza, and when we asked his name he refused to tell us his name.
