True authentic Italian dining, in a clean, delightful restaurant.
The food was excellent, plentiful, and not that expensive.
I had 'Nonna's Sunday Gravy' This restaurant is in an ultra quaint area of old Alexandria some 25 mins drive outside DC, a lovely area to stroll after an excellent t meal. The service was yet again excellent, and the whole night was a nice relaxing change from the hustle and bustle of DC.

What an amazing experience this place was.
Came here with my family and a friend and I'm so glad we picked this place. The interior is both cozy and spacious with the upstairs especially nailing being both open (with very tall ceilings) while still feeling like each table has their own private space. Our server, Tareq, was very friendly and I want to give him a specific shout-out for his patience in helping me select a wine.
I'm far from an expert and he brought me multiple samples and even went to the bar downstairs to inquire about a pairing for my meal that also fit with the style I was looking for.
Excellent all around. The food was amazing, I had the ground lamb papardelle and it was so amazing.
Everyone else in the party seemed to really enjoy their meals as well.
Dessert was also really good. Really a standout in the competitive and talented Alexandria food scene if I do say so myself (and I do).
Would absolutely return here.

Mia’s is a great Italian restaurant located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
All of their dishes are freshly made and the ambiance is great especially if you sit outside.
My only complaint is that the service was mediocre.
My spouse’s food came out 20 min before my dish and it was a hassle to get a refill on drinks.
Also the pricing of the pizza’s are very odd.
My daughter ordered a pizza from the kids menu and my wife ordered a pizza from the regular menu.
Both pizza’s were exactly the same but there was a price difference between the two pizza’s.
Not sure I understand the logic behind that.
Overall though, it’s a good place.
