Royal Nepal Restaurant

We were on a trip and on the way decided to give a try to this place since, some of our friends recommended.
I love the way how they have decorated the place with small details.
We started with few appetizers like sadeko sukuti, Bhuttan (fried goat intestine).
We were served a sel roti and mula Ko achar which was delicious.
Appetizers were incredibly delicious.
Sukuti was crispy and perfectly spiced.
I ordered jhol momo(buff).
I was so excited to try buff momo.
When I had my first bite, it had a strong smell like a lamp even the soup, So I asked the server ( who was super nice), if that is really a buff momo.
He said it’s buff momo.
I was just making sure and was fine to give it a shot despite the smell.
I couldn’t eat so, was waiting for thali. After few minutes we heard a guy shouting to the server in the kitchen saying don’t they know buff momo smells, looks like they have never tried buff momo and blah blah blah…I felt so bad hearing that loud and clear, ruined my mood.
I was just making sure if I got the correct order because I had buff momo previous day at DC at different restaurant and it didn’t have that strong smell.
Didn’t feel like staying there but we had already ordered a thali.
Just didn’t wanna be rude so, finished the lunch as soon as we can.
I guess even our server felt how awkward it was. Food wise, I would definitely recommend this place.
Try sadeko sukuti, it’s the best.

Visiting some family and went to Royal Nepal.
This was my first time trying Nepalese food and it was awesome! Our server was very knowledgeable and recommended the perfect combination of appetizers and entrees.
All of the food was so flavorful and unique but my favorite was the Spicey Lamb Curry.
I will definitely come back when I'm in town.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
The service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.
I highly recommend Royal Nepal for anyone looking for a great dining experience.
