I'm Mexican, and my husband is Salvadorian.
It was such an incredible experience.
Once he tried the food, it took him back to El Salvador.
The food is delicious.
Our kids got the pupusas, and he got the Pollo con crema, I got the Plato Tipico.
The staff was very friendly and inviting.
It's worth the 40-minute drive.
Don't let the 1-star reviews stop you from giving them a try! Delicious!

Bad experience.
We got a Carne Asada, taste plain.
The server was the worst.
She brought the wrong food, didn't bother to come ask if we needed anything after the food, and didn't ask if we needed drinks refilled.
They added an 18% gratuity to the check, that's why the server was terrible, she already knew it was going to be added to the check.
I asked someone else why it was added, he stated it was added to checks of $50.00 and more automatically.
Won't be coming back.
Save your money and go somewhere else.

Food was delicious! Totally satisfied my pupusa craving.
The only reason why I only gave four stars is because I ordered two tacos, one with a thin tortilla and one with a homemade tortilla but I got two homemade tortillas.
Regardless, the food was so tasty and the platanos were so sweet and delicious.
If I am ever in town again, I'll be back!
