With a price range that invites both casual diners and special occasions, the restaurant's décor resonates with warmth and festive flair. While many rave about the exemplary service and standout dishes like the escargot and Beef Bourgignon, some diners found the noise level a tad overwhelming. Overall, it’s a delightful spot perfect for sharing flavorful meals and convivial gatherings.

The service was the main standout - exactly how a dining experience should be.
Our waiter was super knowledgable about the menu and even gave recommendations for each course.
The food itself was not outstanding to me but I got the Shrimp salad (which was good but I don't think worth $27!?).
My friend (who's a picky eater) got the steak and she said it was great! Obviously Le Diplomate is a DC staple, so I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu!

Jamila, we're happy to know you had a positive experience at Le Diplomate and appreciate your feedback on how we can improve.

This was my first visit to Le Dip.
I enjoyed the Christmas decor and friendly staff from the start.
It was loud inside and sometimes hard to have a conversation.
I started with a lemon drop and it was very tasty.
The bread basket and butter were also very good. As for the food, it was very good, high quality-house made items.
My favorite things were the onion soup, escargot, and ravioli.
My least favorite was the mushroom tart.
It was too mush “tart” and not enough toppings in my opinion.
Other than that it was a good time.

S., thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent experience at Le Diplomate.
We're happy to learn your visit was an enjoyable one and we look forward to welcoming you back soon and earning that last star.

Nice restaurant.
The food was okay.
Really liked the potato.
I wish the escagot was still in the shell but it was okay.
Desert was tasty.
Was not really blown away but had a good experience.
