Irish pub, Pub
Look, we had a horrible experience here.It was cloudy out, and there was potential for rain. They couldn’t seat us inside but told us we could sit outside, so we opted to do that.We waited 20 minutes for service, then went to check to make sure that they had us on the list.We were then told we couldn’t sit outside and there was no service outside. We got up to leave and stacked the menus, and the host ran out and apologized again. They asked us to sit back down and said they would assign a server outside. The waitress came outside and complained about having to have us at a table. The menu says four groups of eight or smaller; they can do separate checks, but for nine or more, they cannot because we are a government trip, we have to have separate checks. We had eight people, so we asked immediately if we could have separate checks. She informed us she couldn’t do that. She was just really annoyed to have to serve us, and it was evident in everything she did. I ordered the half of a chicken roasted with a raspberry sauce and potatoes. My counterpart ordered a steak. There is no way that the bird I received was a chicken. It looked more like a Cornish game, hon.It was extremely tiny, and it did not come with the correct sauce or correct potatoes.I didn’t want to send anything back or spend any more time in the restaurant, so I ate it, but I left feeling hungry. The so-called chicken was also extremely dry, and some spots were challenging to bite through because of how long it had roasted… I wish we had just left and gone somewhere else because the attitude of the server and the dryness of the meal ruined our experience. The old building is fantastic, though, and the outside seating is lovely. The indoor area looked beautiful as well.
The food was delicious, the service was exceptional.Definitely worth the money in taste, service and portions (kids meals are huge, too)! Irish coffee was perfection. The only down side is that it was a little loud in the restaurant, other than that it was great experience!

The potato soup was amazing. The wings were good too.I also liked the live music and the somewhat fast service. The beef though, was bad.I didn’t like it one bit, I wouldn’t recommend it because it has no taste and it’s dry.I suggest avoiding the beef. But everything else was awesome.Try out this restaurant.
