The restaurant has a very small space and you could definitely feel the close proximity that makes it feel cramped. Despite this, we were seated very effectively and the food was delivered in such a timely manner. The dish options were normal but not overwhelming and the appetizers and entrees were incredibly flavorful.I would say depending on your dish, it may be smaller or larger than you expect. I would advise not taking a car as it probably applies to all of DC, public transit and walking access was amazing and the area did not feel unsafe at the 8pm hour that we ate. Overall, we enjoyed our service, a comfortable authentic Mexican place for visitors!
I dined at this restaurant today.While the food was decent, I was very disappointed to discover that the restaurant had added a gratuity to my bill without informing me beforehand.I believe it is wrong not to disclose this type of policy to customers upfront.Had I known, it would have factored into my decision to dine here.I hope the restaurant will consider being more transparent about added gratuities going forward.
Small place with good food and authentic Mexican cuisine.Good service with reasonable price.Not for kids or big gatherings. Street parking available.
