It’s five stars because it’s perfectly what it needs to be.
It’s homey, it’s classic, it’s greasy, it’s everything you love about a…”dive diner?” It’s a symbol of an ideal America, slinging eggs and hashbrowns to an appreciative clientele. Delicious breakfast staples quickly served over the counter or to a charmingly small booth table. Tell them it’s your first time.

The Village coffee shop is a classic and may be the best breakfast spot in Boulder and possibly of Colorado. I think this team has worked here for the last 10 to 20 years, they have it down. Don’t tell him it’s your first time in unless you like to be the star of the show :-) One of the last greasy spoon diner vibes around.

As soon as I opened the door to this place I knew it was going to be good.
I was immediately overcome with strong nostalgia from being a kid eating at diners in small town Texas.
The food was excellent.
It was simple, to the point and exactly the way I hoped it would taste.
I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re anywhere within driving distance!
