After visiting the Larimer County farmers market, we were hungry and found the perfect spot.
The place has a charming, old-school diner vibe, complete with a countertop, stools, and specials on a whiteboard.
Our waitress let us choose our seats and gave us menus.
I ordered the breakfast burrito with green chili, and my partner got the biscuits and gravy.
Our food arrived in about 15 minutes and smelled delicious.
The burrito was well-layered with potatoes, eggs, bacon, and a tasty green chili topping.
The biscuits and gravy were flavorful with just the right amount of sausage.
The staff was welcoming, and we felt right at home.
We can’t wait to come back!

I'm gonna be honest - I'm not the hugest fan of greasy spoon diners usually.
So I was very pleasantly surprised coming to Mountain Cafe for the first time today and thoroughly enjoying everything about it.
This is basics done at a very high level, and for a very attractive price.
Don't be like me - don't sleep on Mountain Cafe.
Will be back!

Honestly, some of the worst food I've ever encountered, don't know if I just came on a day where they were only serving the leftovers from the day before or what.
Pancake was good, though.
