The chicken sandwich was frankly terrible. We also got the tuna sandwich, which was cold tuna salad on a partially grilled piece of bread. The staff was polite and the fries were good.
it's also a good location.

Great lunch spot!! My wife got the grilled cheese and tomato soup and I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries.
Despite being seemingly simple meals, both were executed extremely well and have their own unique touch! Rooted is a must for a nice casual lunch in Boulder!

If you’re looking for great restaurants in downtown Boulder you can’t go wrong with Rooted Craft American Kitchen located on the first floor of Avanti because it’s a wide range of options with a couple great places to eat.
There’s a bar on the first floor and on the roof.
My favorite part though, the bartenders were above and beyond often coming around to your table kindly offering refills.
Pour me another please! It’s great plaice for families too, a family sat next to us as we were finishing and when we returned a few hours later the family was still hanging out having fun.
That could be YOU! My only note I got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and Nashville Hot chicken Mac and cheese and there was no heat on either so maybe they forgot the sauce.
The other cook joked his partner was a new crew member.
I only caution spicy fans cause I noticed a similar review.
I think they’ll fix this small issue quickly.
