Enjoyed lunch here on a recent Saturday afternoon.
I remembered eating at Efrain's some time back and remembered the green chile bowl so I opted for that as my lunch and was glad I did.
The bowl was looked with chunks of pork and green chilies.
It was on the higher scale for spiciness but just how I like it.
My lips had some tingling for a bit after I finished.
My wife and son chose the combinations with chicken enchiladas, shredded beef tacos, and bean tostada's.
The meat was plentiful and tasty.
The only drawback was they taco and tostada were soggy from the enchilada sauce.
Although we didn't need dessert, we split an order of churros and I am still thinking of them days later.
The food is on point with what I would expect when visiting Santa Fe or Albuquerque.
Will definitely make the hour drive to come back.

The spicy pork green chili was not spicy! That was disappointing.
Hope someone at the restaurant reads this review and fixes the issues.

Visited this restaurant on our way back from Rocky Mountain National Park.
I thought this going to be mediocre food.
Easy access from road, staffs are so nice, very neat place.
We ordered Efrain ( super delicious, must try, very big plate), beef burrito ( spicy and delicious, they can adjust the spice), beef chimichanga ( best one we had), vegetarian taco( so tasty, spicy lovers ask for more, their sauce is very tasty).
This is one of the best Mexican food we had, its not Tex-Mex, if you are passing through Denver or Boulder definitely try this place.
Not at all expensive, quantity is really good.
We will definitely try for our next visit.
