I loved this place.I didn't really know what to expect, but ended up really enjoying my time there.I went for lunch during a work day and shared the meat combo with a friend, and it was delicious and timely. The vibe of the interior is amazing.I know little of Eritrean culture, but the decor in that place was fun- and it looked like it would be a great place to go for a drink too.I definitely want to return at some point!
Went there with someone at around 6pm or so.The place seem to have a nightclub vibes.Loud music and darker settings. We ordered two tibsis and habesha beers. The server greeted us and sounded friendly at the beginning. Our food came relatively faster since the restaurant didn't have that many people. Our food wasn't cooked well and was fatty. The injera was good and plenty to make both of us full. The server then left for the day before we had to pay and leave. The second server came with a credit card reader that has no payment or order details but large tip percentages.I was confused since I didn't get a chance to review the payment details you usually see in all restaurants.I selected a percentage anyway and I was expecting her to give me a receipt. That never happened. Then I asked her for a receipt and she proceeded to tell me that she has no idea what we had.I was not expecting that but I politely told her what we had before she contacted the owner. She came back and apologized for the fact that the server had left already and she doesn't know bla bla...It was my first time to go there and I am sure I will never be back.Very low customer service.I am not sure how they are rated at more than 4 stars.Terrible place run by incompetent owners.
This place is a real authentic Eritrean, Ethiopian vibe.Top notch quality food at reasonable price. For someone that need fun and quality. The owner Eseyas is always on the top of everything.Full attention to his guests and servers are super fast.Thank you Esu for bringing an awesome vibe to the community.
