Geraldine's Counter Restaurant is a charming spot with a quick-moving line that ensures you're seated promptly. However, be sure your entire party is present, as they won't seat you otherwise. The service is impeccable, with a team of friendly and sweet staff. I opted for the avocado pepper jack omelette, and it was a delightful choice—perfectly cooked and not greasy, accompanied by tasty hash browns. While the French toast was decent, I made the mistake of asking for it crispy, which made it average in my opinion. Next time, I'll give the pancakes a try based on the overall positive experience.Geraldine's Counter Restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a satisfying breakfast or brunch.

Thanks for coming in Kiran and for posting those great videos and photos. Much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you in again soon to try our pancakes.
It's worth the wait! We had a great breakfast here on our last day in Seattle.I didn't take enough pictures because we were so hungry! The French toast was AMAZING! Soft on the inside but insanely crispy on the outside.I'm not a huge French toast fan, but I've been trying to recreate it at home. The gravy was full of sausage, and the hash dish was the best I have ever had.Perfect portions weren't so huge that you were in a coma the rest of the day.Service was fast and efficient but never made us feel rushed, nor did they give off the appearance they were rushed.Wish I lived closer, would come once a week.
This place is pretty awesome.I’ve been a bunch of times and can not recommend enough the FRENCH TOAST & BREAKFAST CASSEROLE!! It’s a 10/10 for me, especially when I remember to ask for jalapeños mixed in. The location is great, the aesthetic and feel is a 9/10 and that last point is simply a function of the waiting area which is immediately in front of you when you open the door.If there’s more than 4 people waiting, it’s crowded. The food is consistent and delicious.I can’t think of anything that I didn’t enjoy here with one exception.Any breakfast spot worth their (kosher) salt 🧂 has to have great PANCAKES 🥞… here’s the problem. They have good pancakes but they don’t always show up to the party. They rotate them daily and if you come in craving some tasty cakes and find out that they are serving some oatmeal pancakes (was the case this week), you try and may be disappointed.Me and my son tried these and ate one of four pancakes.Partly, they were undercooked in the middle but mostly the texture was nothing I’d ever want in a pancake.I won’t harp on this as it’s the one issue I have.Bottom line, this is a staple worth keeping in the rotation.
