Tucked away on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Momona Cafe & Restaurant is a cozy gem serving authentic Eritrean cuisine! I had never tried injera before, but Letina and her friendly staff made it an unforgettable experience, guiding me on how to enjoy their delicious dishes.

The injera, warm and slightly sour, paired perfectly with a variety of flavorful stews. The casual atmosphere felt welcoming, and despite the music being a tad loud, it added to the lively vibe.

Though we encountered a hiccup with service, I'm definitely going back for the adventure of sampling more of their comfort food. Highly recommended for a unique cultural experience! 😋
