STONE AGE KOREAN BBQ

I’ve been holding off writing a review until I had a really good experience here.
This is my fourth visit and the first time I’ve really enjoyed it. Amy Claire (AC) was our server and she made all the difference! She took the time to chat with us and brought us sauces more like we were looking for.
Let’s be real, we can all cook meat at home, we come out for the sauces and condiments! So, we got gochujang, smoky red powder, smoky brown powder, and a sauce we are now naming “AC Sauce” in honor of the server who created it.
It is composed of stuff from the hot pot bar and combines beautifully.
Here’s the recipe: Raw garlic, sesame oil, green onion, cilantro, “chili paste”, sriracha, and smoky brown powder. If AC is working, ask for her to wait on you.
If she’s not working, still ask for AC Sauce.
It’s awesome!

A "STRATOSPHERICALLY" PLESANT SURPRISE! Tonight (Thursday, June 6, 2024) I had dinner at Stone Age Korean BBQ -- a restaurant here in Huntsville, Alabama.
(It is located in a development that is fairly close to -- but south of -- the Memorial Parkway and Governor's Drive intersection.) This was actually my very first time dining at a Korean restaurant.
And, WOW! What a great dining experience. There were so many different dishes to try -- and so many unique twists on familiar dishes -- that I can't go into them all right now.
But, almost everything I sampled was really, REALLY good.
And, I my meal was an "All-You-Can-Eat" in two hours deal. As far as meat dishes, I tried both beef and pork this first visit.
I'm CRAZY about the BEEF BULGOGI! 😋 If you haven't already been there, definitely do give it a try. DELICIOUS! Many thanks and compliments to the ENTIRE team at Stone Age Korean BBQ on South Parkway, in Huntsville, Alabama. BRAVO! 👍 👍 G.

First time in this restaurant.
Good service at the table.
You will live a different experience where you prepare your food yourself at the table.
You will enjoy it if you like Asian food but if it is your first time I recommend the lemon chicken and the hot pot with a miso soup base.
I tried the beef bulgogi and it seemed to have a very strong flavor for my taste.
I loved how they served the rice in a very tender container.
