Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We have eaten at this location many times, but this was awful.
Parking lot half full at 4:30.
Went in ample seating asked to be seated at a window man said no one to work those seats? Got boy no stars asked what we wanted to drink.
Brought us tea with maybe 3 ice cubes. Requested another glass of ice for hot tea. Took our order didn't ask about breads.
Brought 5 biscuits no cornbread for pintos on our plates.
Had to ask for cornbread to go with our beans. Wife got creme potatoes & gravy.
Well she went to get a fork of taters and they were like a dried layer off side of pan.

We should have known better when rating 85. We also ordered the $5 extra to get saying freshly prepared when??? Waiter didn't tell us it was frozen.
Refused item.
Don't know who manager was but everyone looked like they were trying to hide or stay busy to speak to.
VERY SAD.

I've gone to the Cracker Barrel for decades and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.
First, only, and last time I'll be at this particular location.
It started off poorly with the hostess 'disagreeing' with two parties in front of me.
Both had 3 people in them and both were questioned repeatedly about their names and validity of their place in line despite the text messages telling them their table was ready.
I got my table about 10 minutes after I put my name in.
I ordered blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrown casserole, and, coffee plus water.
I got a coffee and water within a couple of minutes and additional cream.
The woman next to me was complaining about everything about her food and sent it back twice.
Eventually they comped her meal and she even took home the leftovers from the do over.
My food came out in about 10 minutes.
It was barely warm though and I didn't get any silverware until I saw an employee come past my table, 10 minutes later.
So, I ate my cold food and I asked for another coffee after I had finished eating.
Both my coffee cup and water glass were empty for the duration of my meal.
There were a lot of unhappy employees in the back area that had no filter and I, along with the other unfortunate customers had to listen to a toxic stew of verbal diarrhea and vulgarity from multiple staff.
I'm just very disappointed in the experience I had here and the lack of quality in service and the food presentation were definitely sub par and far below the minimum expectations.
I'll give the chain another chance but this was really awful.

I use to love coming to this place but not anymore..
waitress was so extremely rude..
the change the sirloin steak to sirloin tips and the waitress said we couldn't have it cooked medium because it's already comes in cooked medium well..eggs were barely done..just all around gross!! Silverware was gross too..but they do have an 80 so I should have known..and chick going to make it a lot she's signing her name to scribble over the server part of it
