Unfortunately, I just found out that Mexique is permanently closed, but I had to share my experience while it was still open! The tasting menu was a fantastic journey, with standout dishes like the duo de cordero and Mar y tierra - perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

The tartar was creamy and satisfying, and I loved that our large party of 12 was treated to complimentary clams from the kitchen.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the desserts? Simply divine! Great wine selection too! Will miss this gem in Chicago... 🍷✨
