I recently tried Fon Fon Chinese Cuisine located on Kedzie Ave, and it was a mixed bag.

The lunch special was a great price, but I found the shrimp fried rice to be quite dry and not as fresh as I’d hoped. The Mongolian beef lacked flavor and was a bit tough.

However, the casual atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch. Plus, there are some decent vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.

Despite the hiccups, I'll give them another shot... perhaps for a takeaway! 🍜
