Yesterday was my first time coming to this location. The food was very delicious, the portions were more than enough, I will definitely be back! There is one thing they can improve, they need a sign that says you can seat yourself. I assumed you ordered at the counter and got a number, I was flat out wrong and thought I was going to get scolded by the lady at the counter.She rearranged my order and I sat down.
Great place to eat! I definitely recommend this place, took my family out to here and the food was just amazing! Great staff, very welcoming , great environment, the restaurant was so beautiful inside it felt like I was in Mexico!! There are 2 locations in Chicago make sure if you want to dine in you go to the one on 55th street, the 18th street location is just take out ! This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back ! FYI it’s street parking at both locations so good luck on the weekends!
Decided to try the Carnitas here while visiting Chicago. They were AMAZING! The carnitas are definitely the star of the show but the beans, the nopales and the tortillas were verry good as well.The only thing I wish is that the carnitas were served a little hotter in temperature and the guagamole was bland but the most important part (the carnitas) are to die for!
