Mesquite Fresh Street Mex

I really enjoyed my tacos when I ate here today.
The only problem I had was that there were so many toppings on top of the meat that the wonderful flavor of the meat got lost! The meat is grilled and it has a wonderful mesquite flavor, but the toppings overshadow the meat flavor! They do have a drive-through and there is no inside seating so you have to sit outside.
It was a beautiful day so I didn’t mind sitting outside.
The two sauces were lovely.
One was a green sauce and the other one was a red sauce.
Both of them had great flavor! You have to order from the outside and then, take it to go.
Again, there’s no place to sit inside.
I really did enjoy my tacos but I really wish they would not put so many toppings on top of them.
I definitely will go back because the tacos were really good.
I had the flower Street tacos.
The menu is limited, but that’s OK because they are good at what they do!

I decided to try this restaurant for the first time…I went through the drive-thru and with tax I paid about $34 for 12 tacos.
When I got home a few minutes later I realized that my pan only had 11 tacos crammed into it (see pic), when I paid for 12! The shells were overstuffed an the tacos and meat were COLD.
I warmed them up in the microwave an the grilled flavor was nice, but the shells fell apart an it was hard to keep all the toppings from spilling.
I just wish they would check orders and count correctly before giving people their food, and heating up the food would be nice.

*update: lowering from 2 to 1 stars, as I emailed them and didn’t receive a response back.
So, their comment is just to try to save face? Edible, but expect to pay around $17 for cold, chewy tacos that don’t look good and bad customer service. Definitely would *not* recommend given there’s a bunch of good taco places in PHX.
