Bar & grill
I was so excited when I passed this restaurant in the Phoenix airport awhile ago -the big sign in the window promised that they were pouring local Arizona wines! The Arizona winemakers are doing some very exciting things, so I couldn't wait to try a glass and see what they had on their wine list.Unless my geography is off, most of the wines were from Napa, New Zealand, and Sonoma - only two were from Arizona! What a missed opportunity, and the airport advisory should hold them to more local offerings. The University of Arizona is on top of the Arizona wine industry, and Rachel DelRocco Terrazas in Tucson is quickly becoming a go-to resource for AZ wines. Please use your visibility to promote your state and it's local industries.
I was here recently to watch the NFL conference finals and the atmosphere was great and fun.In particular, the bartender, Brian Lynch, went above and beyond.I know this because I saw and heard people come up to personally thank him for making difficult travel days better for them. If you're flying through Phoenix, Terminal 4 and the Cheuvront Wine Bar is a great place to kill some time!
Small airport with a wonderful bar/restaurant. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Had a glass of wine while waiting for our flight.Very clean area and well taken care of
