This is a no frill, traditional Betuti family owned restaurant. They make lebaneese brick oven bread with middle eastern spices in olive oil like Zaatar. It takes amazing and so fresh. They have 2 stores and this one is just good for grabbing a quick bit for a very reasonable price.I tried the Zaatar bread with pickles, olives and hummus and it was just amazing!
It's a tiny little lebanese bakery that's stands tall among all other bakeries! As soon as you walk in the smell of the dough and the bakery will take you back to your childhood (if you grew up earing lebanese pies for brekafast). The pies were amazing. The service was great, very authentic lebanese pies (manaeesh) we had the cheese, the meat and the one and only zaatar (thyme) this is my 2nd time here and whenever I visit NYC I make it a point to stop by. The bakery is super cool 😎 it has this feeling of being outside of New york, and back in Lebanon 🇱🇧 the music they play just the whole thing for me it was amazing.
Best Manousheh I’ve ever had.Their kefta sandwich was super delicious too! Loved this place.I wasn’t a big fan of the spinach pie, it was a bit bitter though.Still a real gem of a place to eat at.
