Leo's Mexican Restaurant

I went back to Leo's for lunch today, and got the mole enchiladas.
The meal came with chips and a medium hot sauce.
The enchiladas were shredded chicken that had been simmered in a flavorful broth and rolled up to corn tortillas.
The mole sauce, was rich and chocolatey with a good depth of chili and spices.
The rice, beans and some shredded lettuce was nothing special.
The service at Leo's is always good and my food arrived promptly. The dinning area is roomy and we'll suited for families.
The did have a vegetarian section on their menu for those that prefer it. I would have given Leo's a higher rating but the competition in Tucson is very high.
I had no complaints and will go back again sometime.

Leo’s was okay, but not great experience that we would be a regular.
The chips are thick and the salsa had a good kick.
In general, the food did Not have much flavor.
My husband chimichanga was big and full of white meat chicken, but it was just cooked chicken, not flavored with seasoning or grilled anything.
My cheese enchiladas red sauce reminded me of a childhood restaurant we used to go to that was a Mexican Buffet, a moment of good memories, but the food was not good enough to make new memories.
A lot of locals and repeat customers as the staff seemed to chat with them, and hang longer at their tables.
Our water glasses where never refilled and we sat a bit before catching the waitress attention to get our bill.

We ordered delivery.
I wish I would have realized the time when I ordered but I was so hungry.
The restaurant doesn’t close until 8:30pm and I ordered around 7:30pm.
My husband liked his shredded beef tacos, however my Caldo de Queso soup was cold, hardly any potatoes or chilis.
It was a greasy broth with nasty shredded cheese.
I wasn’t expecting that as I’ve always had the white Mexican cheese with that soup and when making it.
The chips were cold and stale but the air fryer fixed that issue.
Idk if we will order from there again.
