Korean restaurant, Restaurant
We’ll be back! The friendly owner greeted us right away and remembered my husband who was in earlier that week. The food here is fantastic.I ordered combination 1 with chicken, which came with dumplings, rice, and 4 delicious sides, plus a light soup. All of it was so good! The chicken was tender and had a wonderful flavor. My husband ordered rabokki, a spicy noodle, fish cake, vegetable, and rice cake dish.He loved it.Earlier, he had the bean paste stew, which he’ll definitely order again.I plan to return to try everything on the menu. We had questions about the dishes and the owner helped us make our decision. To top it off, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal.
The oldest korean restaurant in AZ did not disappoint. The jjajang (black bean noodles) was savory and the noodles were tender, Super delicious. The hot stone bibimbap was delicious, hot and crispy! The tteokbokki was spicy and perfectly chewy! The house soup had a mild but pleasant taste. All the side dishes were delicious and fresh as well. The service was excellent and the family that run the shop are super friendly. We will definitely be back for more!
My niece orders from here as delivery all the time and loves it.She wanted to dine in when we came to visit for her birthday. A lot of their food is spicy so I would definitely pay close attention to the menu if you're not into spicy food. The restaurant was clean with minimal decor and a couple of nice semi-private booths in addition to the many tables. The server was not unfriendly but also was not particularly friendly, I don't think she smiled once but she was busy and another table was being rude to her. We were celebrating my niece's birthday and she wanted to try the chicken feet, she's braver with food than me.I wish they had a small sample size for newbies though, because no one at the table liked them and we felt bad that they went to waste. They were gristly, chewy and had almost no meat on them. The soup tasted like raw potatoes in warm water but the rest of the food was well made and tasted good. My niece especially enjoyed the dessert. We would give it another try.
