Feeling hangry? Amelia’s spinach tamales with green sauce will save the day.
I was hoping to try the breakfast version, with fried egg, but ordered just a few minutes too late (served till noon).
The regular plate with rice and beans was great, and the wildcat burrito was a hit at our table too.
Get there early on the weekends — the good food leads to a long line of customers.
The interior is small but fun, with vibrant murals, and there’s also covered outdoor seating and plenty of parking.

Enjoyed my cup of coffee while waiting for my to go breakfast burrito...it wasn't quite what I expected.
I guess she misunderstood my order.
It had ham in it that had fat still attached, egg, potato, avocado and very little cheese.
The hot sauce was good and it was big enough to share.
The server was friendly and informative.
Other dishes looked quite nice as I spoke to the table next to me.
Took pictures of the food that was nicely presented and they said it was very good.
I look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

Visited on a work trip and tried Amelia's on my last night.
Had I tried this place on my first night in town, I'd probably have come here every night.
Delicious quesabirria.
Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with outdoor seating.
Definitely where you want to go in Tucson for great food and drinks.
