Place is nice.
Service is good.
Food looks great but does not taste as good

Visiting from California.
The staff was very friendly! This place is just off the beaten path.
The atmosphere was great.
They let you scan a QR code so you can add songs to their playlist.
This was a great touch to make the evening a little more personal and enjoyable. We had a quick drink and some bites.
The food was excellent.
We tried the soup of the day, which was butternut squash, we also tried the bone marrow with toast.
Both were delicious.
We were lucky enough to visit on a Monday when they have Magician performing.
He was amazing! Performed a few great card tricks.
He was so kind to make a balloon animal for our son.
Honestly some of the best card tricks I’ve seen and the real reason for this review.
I hope this review helps some decide to eat here.

Since July 2022, the date of my visit with 2 Americans, I have been putting off writing this.
We were walking in the Marais and chose this place to have lunch.
It looked nice and is on such a pretty street.
The condescending attitude of our "waiter" should have been our 1st warning to refuse to stay, but we were hungry and glad to have a place to sit.
When our order finally arrived - I ordered a salad which is probably not on the menu anymore - we could not believe our eyes.
It was disgusting and looked like the dog's dinner, like a dog had a go at it, so I took a photo before touching it (I ended up not eating it).
When the waiter saw I hadn't eaten it he did not ask if I wanted something else, or if anything was wrong, and I had been too polite to send it back and make a scandal.
Just before leaving I went to the toilettes, and when I came out there, much to my shock, a waiter (not ours) was taking the same salad to another table (to French customers), but it looked good.
I wanted to be sure it was the same one I had ordered so asked him if it was called (I forget the exact name) and he said Yes, it was.
Again, I took a photo.
Photo #1 is the untouched /uneaten salad the way it was brought to our table and photo #2 is what it should have been.
Horrible.
Tourists beware.
