I’m so glad we stumbled upon this place- I just searched a steak place closest to us and this place did not disappoint.
The sauces that accompany their steak were so good and the serving of steak itself could feed 4 people! I especially loved their “green tartare”, the most unique version of tartare I’ve had so far.

We missed our original booking at another stakehouse a few minutes away and steered towards this one as a back up dinner plan.
We had high hopes since it has been recommended on the social media platform but it turned out one the most disappointing meals we have had so far in our trip in Paris.
The service was so-so, we can definitely tell they were short of staff, but they were trying their best to pull things together with a good attitude.
The seating was quite tight but we did like the design and the atmosphere in the house.
What we disliked most really was the quality of food, the medium rare steak we ordered turned out to be well done, chewy and more like beef jerky.
We got a discount from the reservation in Fork which made our experience more favorable but we wouldn’t come back for a second time to be frank.

We enjoyed our experience at Le Beef Marais Steakhouse, but it wasn’t at the quality we had expected for the price. When we arrived, despite having a reservation, we were told that the front room was full, so we were brought up and down some stairs to a separate room with more tables and chairs.
These were really close together and the chairs were actually the same type of chair you might get when you’re camping - definitely outdoor chairs.
I didn’t feel overly comfortable when seated and, due to the cramped nature of this separate room and the amount of people in it, it was pretty loud and hard to hear my fiancé as we spoke to each other. We both ordered the XXL ribeye (entrecôte) steak with cheesy mashed potatoes and a sauce each.
Steak-wise, we were expecting a lot better at 52€ a piece - the quality was similar to that served at our local steakhouse for half of the price.
It was, however, served really quickly and cooked well.
The seasoning wasn’t all there either though, so we had to season the steak again ourselves. The mashed potatoes were the star of the show, however; they were absolutely rich and indulgent.
The sauce options were okay, but it would have been nice to see some of the classics too, like a béarnaise, for example. All-in-all, we didn’t have a bad time but, due to the environment we were dining in and the excessive pricing on an average-tasting piece of steak, I can’t rate this over a 3.
Our waiter was exceptional though and so full of charisma, so he really lifted the experience - a big thank you to him!
