We were looking for a nice quiet classic French dinner, and Le Hangar delivered. They seated us outside where it was a lovely evening. The proprietress was warm and welcoming. The tomatoes with fresh burrata salad was excellent. The creamy lentil soup was delicious. The beef tenderloin and potatoes were all so tasty.Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.
This restaurant is out of the way so if you don't know it's there, you will not see it. But nonetheless, people know about it, and it doesn't stay empty. I found out about it by reading google map reviews of restaurants with good ratings. This appears to be a family owned restaurant with great food and wonderful service. I visited this restaurant for lunch, and ordered a glass of red wine, cream of lentil soup with foie gras, beef stroganoff and chocolate souffle. The food totally exceeded my expectations. I read in the reviews that beef stroganoff was good, and it was, but the highlight of the meal for me was the soup. I don't think I have ever eaten a better lentil soup. This will definitely be a place to visit for me when I'm back in Paris. I absolutely highly recommend it.
So wonderful.I had the mozzarella & tomatoes in olive oil & basil to start, and it was amazing; the entre was sea bass in fennel and it was delicate and flak Dessert was the orange crepes in grand manier. So fabulous! Sorry, I ate the fish too fast for a photo.
