October 04, 2024La Cuscatleca South is a hidden gem in Des Moines! 🌟 Tucked away in a former college building, it boasts a cozy vibe reminiscent of a retro diner mixed with Central American charm.
I ordered the shrimp and cream entrée along with the papusas (bean, shrimp, and jalapeño) – all bursting with flavor! The house-made slaws complemented the meal perfectly. With friendly service and a reasonable bill of about $40 for two, it's a steal.
Don't miss out on this delightful spot, especially if you're a pupusa lover! I can't wait to go back! 😊
