Love this restaurant! I've eaten at several eateries in DC, some jackets only, dressy places and everything in-between.
I follow the good food and service, and that is what keeps me coming back to Hawk and Dove everytime I'm in DC.
The food is sooo well-made.
Great Americana food choices= I've never had a bad meal.
The waitstaff is attentive and friendly.
I've seen people in business suits, but most patrons are in dressy casual attire.
There are seats in multiple areas: near a super long bar, in a side room a bit more intimate, or outside with firepits and umbrellas.
It's all good!

We tried their salads and they were very good.
I had salmon added to the cob salad.
There were four adults and two small children, and the waiter took good care of us.

Great sliders and chicken wings, the pizza was also not bad. The bartenders were also very friendly and helpful.
Luis and Rigoberto had me entertained for a bit.
