Expectations were not reached here.
Upon entering the place could definitely use remodeling.
They still have Christmas decorations up.
The staff was friendly.
The edamame was good but very heavily salted.
The 007 roll and the shrimp tempura were ok but had a very heavily fish smell.
Obviously i know sushi is fish but the sushi i eat in NYC does not have that strong of a scent.
Lastly the Pad thai and Chicken lo mein had a lot of water underneath the food itself and just tasted a bit old.
Some of the chicken pieces just tasted anything but chicken.
The only reason I did not give 2 stars is because the staff was friendly.
Total for the bill was 88$.

Fresh sushi & fantastic lunch specials! Everyone from presidents, to congressmen, to celebrities have dined here & loved the food & service as evident by the numerous signed pictures on the wall.
This restaurant is also a quick walk away from the National Mall & is a perfect quick lunch while out sightseeing

The chirashi sushi was amazing.
Fresh and large.
Highly recommend the sushi
