American restaurant, Bar, Brunch restaurant
Outside dining in the middle of big buildings.Atmosphere, people and food all great. We had Mac and Cheese, which was very cheesy and creamy.I had the blacken chicken with fries.I wish it had a little more "blacken", but it was still amazing. The onion poppy bun was something that could easily accompany just about any meal.It was awesome., especially will a little crisp from the pan sear. They do have indoor, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to sit outside. Big thank you to our server, Maria. If you found my review helpful, please give it a thumbs up.
This is one of those locations that is made great by the staff. They take the time to recognize locals (in what can be an area invaded by tourists) and offer personalized attention. This makes for an appealing atmosphere whether you're there for brunch or just a drink. The food is fine but nothing outstanding in the neighborhood...But as I said, the draw of Scarlet Oak is the staff and atmosphere.
This place has a good ambience, the prices are decent and food was pretty good.We ate on the outside patio on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded (no baseball game).Good for a first date, date night out or girls night out vibes.
