Came for lunch while at a conference. Our server Johnathan was AMAZING.He was efficient, professional, personable and genuine.Decent amount of options for both breakfast and lunch and creative drink menu.Food was good, seasoning on the fries was even better.Prices seemed a little high but worth it.I hope the ownership sees this and gives kudos to our waiter, he was a cool dude.

We see it ! We hear you.We love Jonny. He has been with us for almost 18 years now ! Thanks for the kind words.
Had a beautiful brunch at Eleven City Diner! Busy place, but a relatively short wait for a table.Amazing challah bread 10/10 we ordered a whole load to go from their in-restaurant store.Fun, friendly and happy staff. Had a small mix up with our order and overall odd way of interpreting our minor menu substitution (hence the 4/5 star). But overall a welcoming and family friendly vibe.Fun atmosphere, perhaps on the louder side for some, but was very typical of a busy diner. Nice variety of the menu, fair pricing, a little more $$ for a brunch compared to a typical diner however nothing outrageous.

wow.Thank you so much Rachel ! Beautiful words to hear.Sorry about your mix up.Thank you for still sharing the love.Hope you will come back for another visit ......sincerely Bradley !
For classic Jewish diner food in Chicago this place is pretty solid. For classic Jewish diner food in general, Eleven City Diner is alright but I’ve obviously had much better (in New York). Prices were high and the atmosphere was very touristy. Not a laid back or homey vibe, but regardless the interiors were well done.Although they hyped up their Bloody Mary it tasted pretty average to me, not overly rich or flavorful (not bad though).Matzo Ball soup was good.I could have ordered just the soup, the Matzo Ball was huge and broth had great flavor.Corned Beef sandwich was fine, but that’s it.Could’ve used some more meat for the price.Nothing that blew my socks off, but it was a good sandwich. Overall, if you miss East Coast diner food and you’re willing to shell out some cash, this place will suit you fine.
