The best thing about the restaurant is perhaps the atmosphere.I was there for dinner when it was fairly quiet due to the ongoing Super Bowl, but the lovely decor and warm lighting were delightful. On the food, the melitzana feta was too salty -- granted, it was my first time having this dish, maybe it was how it was supposed to be.Anyway, not something I would get again.The grilled salmon started out well but plateaued instead of ascending to new heights -- couldn't quite figure out why, but I suspected it had to do with the fish being a little dry, but then again it was grilled.In any case, 4 ⭐.The pita bread and hummus starter (at least that's what I thought they were) were quite delicious though 🤣 possibly cuz I was hungry, but I ate all of it 🤣 Service would be a 3 ⭐.No problem with the host, but the gentleman from the kitchen who brought out the food just hurriedly put the plates on to the table, showing a little lack of proper attention to the finishing touches.Probably nitpicking, but I was surprised, such a contrast to the overall atmosphere of the establishment 😄
The atmosphere is nice and cozy we were a party of 5 and met up with friends for a nice dinner.The octopus appetizer is a staple and the diver scallops were nicely sized.Branzino and the lamb chops were good portions for the entrees.Would definitely go back again when in the city.
Lunch fixe prixe was absolutely delicious.Went today, service was gracious and attentive, ambiance was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet and everything ordered was exceptional.Cooked and flavored perfectly.Portions generous and price for value and quality is A+.This a perfect date, couple, or friends or family spot, business lunch, found street parking on Saturday.Good wine list.Will definitely return! Ordered spinach pie, bronzini, shrimp with fettuccine, they give complimentary pita and hummus, and dessert sampler had in house made chocolate mousse, baklava, custard filo... Only thing missing was offering of coffee or tea when they served dessert, otherwise A+.
