September 19, 2024El Nopal Mexican Cuisine is a delightful spot for casual dining! 🌮 I stopped by for a meal to enjoy before a UofL football game and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Taco Salad with shrimp - fresh and tasty, though I wished the green peppers and onion were sautéed a bit.
The Burrito Grande smothered in red sauce was a hit, as was the burrito gigante with white sauce! Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere lively, and the service incredibly friendly.
However, I noticed some unexpected charges, like for chips and salsa, which I hope they clarify next time. But I will definitely be back for more! 😊
