Breakfast restaurant, Restaurant
Rarely do my family and I get to go out for meals due to us being a family of 5 . But we decided it was time to get the kiddos up and out for a good breakfast on the last day of spring break. We decided on this due to its location and reviews . So glad we did .Only downside I have is that we didn’t see the option for a pitcher of OJ before each of my kids asked for juice @ 4.50 a glass.I feel that is pretty steep for a 8 oz glass of juice. My Bloody Mary at my first sip I thought was strong but then after drinking some I think they just poured vodka on top of the mix . Pros: Otherwise the food was phenomenal with such a large menu I’m almost forced to go back and try some of the options. All 3 of my kids got breakfast burritos and boy did they look amazing .Two of them were smothered in a creamy red sauce that I tasted and it was great flavor. Everyone raved about the potatoes that came with the meal. My food was so good. The gravy was on point.Chicken fried steak perfectly fried .Biscuits melted in my mouth . The house branded hot sauce was the icing on the cake . In today’s economy you can expect $133 for a family of 5 to eat out a suppose but $20-$30 on juices alone I feel as I stated before was rough but it is what it is. Another con was then charging extra for debit card over cash.I could see charging for credit use but the debit was interesting as seeing I never have cash on me .
This place gets a 9 out of 10. My only complaint is that the dining tables are too small for the size of these plates. The food is heavy and hearty, but not necessarily heart healthy. It's comfort food at its best.We ordered an egg skillet over a bed of potatoes Santa Cruz skillet). Two people can eat that, and both get full tummies. It comes with a choice of banana nut muffin or 3 pieces of toast. We also had an apple cinnamon pancake stack. This tasted sublime. There was a wait to be seated. This place gets very busy. The prices are reasonable since the food portions are pretty big. I have been to the other Egg Works locations in Las Vegas and the food is consistently great.
Great place to start your day.The food is great, staff is best and atmosphere is excellent. On table Pot of delicious coffee is a nice touch.Electric train set is very unique. Will bring the entire family next time.
