Had a burger because the reviews said it was terrible.The signature burger was top tier!! The music alone made me stay for more drinks and the servers a Uber friendly.They recommend after dinner spots in the area.10/10 tell a friend!
Went to the restaurant at around 5.30pm and got a seat immediately as it was rather empty.Ordered the chicken tenders, the Don’s burger, and the truffle burger.Two word to describe the experience - severely underwhelming. Tenders were overcooked and lacked seasoning.Burger was slightly better than a burger you find at McDonald’s or burger king and for the price you are paying for it - outrageous.Fries were okay but not fantastic. On our way out and when we were thanking the waiters, one of them decided to say “hello”instead of thanking us - not sure what to make of this. Tourist trap for sure and will not visit again.4.7 stars is a lie.Believe what you make of it.
We visited Don's - Meats & Spirits during our time in Rome and had a pleasant experience.The burgers were flavorful and satisfying, while the chicken tenders, although juicy, had breading that was a bit over-fried for our liking.The fries complemented our meal nicely.Overall, our experience was enjoyable but not particularly standout.Given that this was our only burger experience in Rome, it's challenging to make a direct comparison.In terms of value for money on an international scale, I'd say it's average.
