Wonderful place, the porterhouse steak was amazing. Only request would be to add prices to the beer list. Didn't realize I was drinking 14 dollars a can.Ha
We found the food to be excellent. The two of us started with six tamales which were really good. Our server was Austin and he knows his stuff, very helpful. Many of the steaks sell by the pound and they have a two pound minimum. At $42 to $49 a pound these steaks would be at least $84 to $98 each. A bit pricey and we didn’t think we could eat two pounds so we both ended up ordering the six ounce filets. They were $40 each and much larger than expected. The two steaks were great and all we could eat. A bit noisy (it was packed with hungry customers) but that is to be expected since the restaurant is in a beautiful old winery building with rock walls and floors. We loved eating in the old building! This is a great place to take your wife or girlfriend (or boyfriend) out for a special meal.
The building is beautiful the converted brewery is a friendly , welcoming relaxed venue, with Charm and appeal, Our Waiter, Austin Was very attentive, Up beat, bringing the different dishes at just the right moment and seeing to our every need.Gregarious and personable, as if we were the most important customers there, and he was that way with everyone he was serving, adding to the charm of the evening. Truly excellent service. We came in later in the evening , yet we were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcomed . The food was AMAZING , ample, delicious and prepared exactly to our preference. The 2.5lb porterhouse was big enough to share between the two of us and truly the best steak I've eaten in Ft.Smith or in AR for that matter. Tender juicy and seasoned just right, each bite was as delicious as the first. The bread they served us was absolutely remarkable, crisp and hot with a soft ,buttery inside , (I'd go there just for the bread. It was like a non greasy fresh donut with out being too sweet, and , to my taste didn't even need any of the real butter supplied with it, so, so good.) They also have one of the best supplied bars I've seen in any steak house East of the Rockies. All in all ,It was well worth the price ,as it added to the magic of our date night . I highly recommend it! We will be back!
