the Fresh Ricotta dish is a harmonious blend of flavors. The combination of apples, grilled bread, and honey creates a delightful balance of sweetness, smokiness, and crispness that's simply irresistible. Also, don't hesitate to ask for extra bread to savor every bit of that ricotta. The Potato Gnocchi and spice-roasted chicken shine with the temperature and well-crafted flavors. We liked the presentation and spicy/lime/cilantro sauce of the whole fish dish, though it regrettably turned out somewhat tough and dry.The Manchego cheesecake was a delectable conclusion of our dinner. Cocktails were misses, very alcohol-y without a good balance of flavors.caramelized cauliflower, slow cooked beef with pasta and Norwegian salmon with cucumber/dill salad were enjoyable but not exceptional. Chloe surprises with its Asian-inspired twist, and I eagerly anticipate their continued journey towards culinary excellence.
I, along with two colleagues, recently had dinner at Chloe’s on 4th Street S.E., in Washington, D.C.’s Navy Yard area and it was a wonderful experience. Service was prompt and efficient and our server knew each dish and their ingredients intimately, which was a great help. The restaurant has a wonderful choice of wines and liquors for every pallet. The approach at Chloe’s is tapas, ordering several interesting plates and then sharing them with your dinner mates. For the night we were there, we ordered: Hamachi crudo; garbanzo falafel; caramelized cauliflower; Norwegian salmon; and spiced veal hummus; and naan bread. All of the dishes were excellent but the Hamachi crudo and caramelized cauliflower were absolutely spectacular, with flavour combinations I have never experienced before. We ended our meal with the Manchego cheesecake which was lemony and refreshing. Chloe’s is truly a gastronomic experience and one not to be missed if you’re dining out in Washington, D.C.
Tried three dishes: 1.Ahi Tuna Tartare, 2.Lemongrass Minute Hanger Steak and, 3.Manchego Cheesecake. All three dishes were delicious and the mixture of flavors and textures amongst all three made for standout experience. I feel this place is a must visit if you are staying or visiting the general area!
