Was looking for a new place to take my wife for her birthday today and came across Catch25.My wife loves seafood and so my family took her here. Our waitress was right there with glasses of water and a beautiful smile. She was very responsive in asking if we needed any advice was very helpful in making decisions. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, I got the bologna sandwich, daughter got crab cakes and son got pancake breakfast tacos with soft bacon. Our meals were good but it 45 minutes for pancake taco which only came out with one, which was cold and bacon over cooked. The other didn’t arrive in time to finish so it was packed to go. Not sure what went wrong other than we were told cook was having difficulty getting it right. The taco rack should not be used for pancake taco which breaks apart the pancake. Review would have been higher but this dish was the easiest of the 4 for tip and all of over a $100 for brunch. I will go back for a dinner try and give them another chance.Great historical area of Huntsville to walk around. I hope they fix this issue.
The first Tuesday of every month has all you can eat crab legs for about $50/person.Go hungry, and it will be totally worth it.Please note that you only get three little potatoes with your first plate.Any potatoes and corn you want after that are not included. The service was great, and the food was phenomenal. The crab was perfectly cooked, and it was a good quality king crab.It was not mushy or rubbery.I personally like a heavier seasoning, but I thought that the flavor of their seasoning was really nice, and it was light enough that my 11-year-old niece still enjoyed it (And she is scared of spicy food so that tells you that it is mild). It takes a while to get your first order of crab, but getting refills on the crab is fast. Also, I can't eat gluten without getting ill, and I did not have any problems eating here.It didn't make me sick, which is a huge bonus.I want to be clear with my fellow celiacs that I did not tell them that I have celiac nor did I ask for any special accommodations.I took a risk with this meal (since there isn't usually flour in crab seasoning), and it was a very worthwhile risk for me.And thankfully I was fine! I will say the bloody Mary that I ordered was atrocious, which is why I deducted one star.I didn't even drink half of it.I don't know if they use a house blend or what.It wasn't worth it to complain or to send it back.I just simply didn't drink it, but I wouldn't order it from them again in the future. And I probably wouldn't order any other cocktails.I'll stick with something simple when we go back. I parked across the street, but we went during a time that downtown Huntsville isn't busy so it was very easy to get parking.
The owners have done a great job remodeling the old Below The Radar restaurant location- decor and ambience are nice. Service was attentive and polite, but the crab/shrimp boil we shared was just ok.They had drenched everything in butter, shrimp appeared to have been previously frozen and there wasn’t much flavor beyond the butter. We had hoped it would be great, or at least good, but cannot recommend the boil.Maybe the other dishes rate five stars, but this one did not.
