My recent visit left me with mixed feelings. The chicken biryani, priced at $15, had a decent taste but lacked in quantity and size of chicken chunks, making the value questionable. On the dosa front, as someone with experience in Hyderabad, the dosa didn't meet the authentic standards I expected. Unfortunately, considering the overall experience, including the price, taste, and portion sizes, I'm hesitant to return. It has room for improvement to make it a more appealing choice for both taste and value-conscious diners.

Hi Hector, thank you for your feedback. Our biryani uses a lot of high quality authentic spices that are expensive as we have to import them from our village.Next time, if you prefer more chicken, all you have to do is ask and we'll be more than happy to provide you with more chicken pieces. As for the dosa, we have not advertised that it is Hyderabadi. If you read our story, we are from Ongole which is in a different state in South India. There are many regional variations of food in India.
This place had been such an amazing place for our family for any occasion to go get some quality south Indian food specially dosa, it's what we always go there for.It pains me to write this review but the quality has worsen since the new owners have taken place. We we're really close to the previous owners of the restaurant and we had been there costumers since late 2000s, sadly they sold the business last year and we all had been seeing some changes in there quality of food and sadly it's not very good, some of the items are ok but the final nail in the coffin was when me and my family visited last month and there was no such thing as south indian taste to any of there food items.you see there was a reason why we loved going there for more then a decade its because it was unique from any other indian restaurants that me and my family loved going to because they offered something different, but this has became one of your "usual" indian restaurants with "same food" items served in any indian restaurant you would go to anywhere.Fresno is open for opportunities for south Indian food
Owner response
Hi Milan, sorry for your experience. The business hasn’t been taken over just yet and we are in fact in the process of selling in the next few weeks. The new owners are fully aware that the quality of the food is paramount to the future success of the business and thus are not only keeping the current staff and our famous South Indian menu they’re spending a considerable amount in training to streamline the process to further improve the quality. They assure us that they will create a unique experience for our customers and will not be the ‘usual’ Indian Restaurant. We hope we can count on your business and support for the next decade and we appreciate your review.
I been going to Brahma Bull for years as they have transitioned in and out of owners and I would say I have never had such great service like Hardev GIll.He truly seems to care about providing excellent customer service.I will definitely be going back!
