I was in town for one night and wanted to try a local restaurant. This was recommended to me by a friend from the area.My expectations were blown away. Fantastic experience on all counts.Food was delicious.Service was exceptional. The restaurant is uniquely designed and small enough to feel like you are somewhere special. They are doing a lot of renovations to improve the space, but it absolutely did not impede my enjoyment of the place.I am excited to come back and see the improvements they’ve made. I got the Swordfish. It came with a tapenade, which made me nervous because I’m typically not a fan of olives. But this tapenade was the best I’ve ever had, and I ate every bite.
The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, although the entrance is a little hidden. The food was really good and presented beautifully. The brie was nice and creamy , the pork chop cooked well and my lasagna was delicious. My only sour note was the BURNT caramel sauce 😔,when the chef was informed the response was "it's supposed to be that way"🤦🏾♀️ the flavor was very off-putting for myself and my companion. It was however taken off the bill, my note to the chef would be to own your mistake and not make excuses.
Took a cooking class here for Galentines Day and it was so much fun! The owner/chef taught us how to make an amazing limone pasta dish and paired it with delicious rosé wines. Not to mention was so knowledgeable on the wines! It was a wonderful experience and a great way to spend time with girlfriends!
