Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant is a delightful spot! 🌮 I finally visited after living in Lubbock for six years, lured in by the live music! The outdoor patio offered a lovely ambiance, perfect for enjoying my frozen margarita, which was a refreshing treat.

We kicked things off with their delicious chips and salsa - definitely a highlight. I opted for the fire-grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon and chicken enchiladas, both of which were fantastic (though the refried beans could use a dash of flavor).

Service was fast and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait to return! 🍹
