April 2024: Stayed at the Marriott hotel for five nights and stopped by the Yard House for beer 🍻 and dinner a few times. Beer selection was very good.Had a lot of decent standards plus a small selection of local beer 🍻. Food wise, I had the ahi salad one night and the bacon burger another night.Both were tasty.The salad was a bit over dressed.I would ask for the salad dressing on the side next time. The burger was delicious.Would get it again if I was craving a good burger. Service was friendly and fast.They were very busy every time I stopped by.
So on a whim, at 6 PM on a Friday night my family walked into the Yard House and were pleasantly surprised! Even though it was packed, the hostess got us seated right away, and our server greeted us directly and got us drinks.After a few minutes to decide and a few cocktails we ordered, and in spite of the place being jampacked, we got our food in a timely manner, and it was fantastic! We’re couldn’t have been happier! Prompt service, delicious food, stiff cocktails and a great atmosphere made this a perfect night.We’ll definitely be back!!! Sorry for the pictures of food that’s been partially eaten, but we were so hungry.I forgot to take pictures before I started! The garlic, beef and noodles was amazing, my daughter’s salmon was perfect and my wife said her Philly cheesesteak sandwich was the best she’d ever had!
The food here is fairly good.The experience here leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed at the Marriot, and ate dinner in once and used them for room service once. Prior to dinner, I stopped by to make reservations.They don't make reservations.I told them I had two young kids, and checked to see if they expected it to be busy in a half an hour.They said we wouldn't have any problem.We show up there thirty minutes later and are you we've got a 40 minute wait.Ugh.After 45 minutes, we're still waiting.We were finally seated an hour after initially coming down.All this because they wouldn't accept reservations. Room service was even worse.We called down over a dozen times and never got through, so we ordered off their website.Our order was missing several big items.Many calls to them went unanswered. We made the decision not to give them any more of our business for the rest of the trip. Two stars is probably an overly generous rating.The kids' macaroni and cheese was delicious and earned them a star.
