Starting with the positives -- atmosphere inside is beautiful, well decorated.
Our server was nice as well.
Downfall -- the food was just ok at best, nothing that wow'd us or made me feel like "I have to come back for this." We had to send the octopus back (we rarely, if ever send anything back anywhere we go; it had a spoiled, fishy taste.
Our server took care of this right away and took it off the bill).
3 of the 4 entrees were actually pretty good, the hanger steak, salmon, and pork belly.
The pork belly was cooked perfectly, but the portion size wasn't worth $37 (at least try to beef it up with heartier sides, a quarter cup of lentils and some sauce isn't helping the case here).
The dining experience here wasn't altogether terrible, but in a city with tons of restaurants, this was a 1 and done.

Fantastic ambience with top-notch quality food.
We tried Hummus, Beef Skewers and a dessert; every item was prepared to its finest.
We enjoyed our delayed anniversary dinner to the fullest.

Never have I been more disappointed in a dining experience. We were seated in the wrong section (in the bar section where it’s significantly louder and more casual service, instead of dining where we booked) and when I realized, I approached the host and hostess about it, instead of being immediately apologetic, they became defensive attempting to blame us that we booked the wrong section which was not the case.
We asked them to move us to the correct area as per our booking and eventually were moved (this is almost an hour after our reservation time).
Why have a selection for the dining area during booking when it is not honored? Service is painfully slow, it took over 20 minutes for servers to arrive to the table, drinks took over 30 minutes, food is absolutely mediocre at best in quality.
It really depends on what you’re looking for, if it’s for a drink and small bite in a “flashy place” and you don’t mind sitting around, this is the place.
If you want quality food and service for the price they charge, avoid this restaurant. It appears to be poorly managed and staff needs improved customer service training.
Wait staff was pleasant when they were present but service was slow, and bare minimum. For the price of dining, Vidrio needs to do better.
