September 23, 2024Vernon's Smokehouse offers a casual barbecue experience right by Graceland, making it perfect for tourists looking to fuel up. I enjoyed the brisket, though it was a bit fatty for my taste. The cornbread was a definite highlight - warm and buttery!
The service was swift, which I appreciated after a long tour.
However, I found the prices a tad high for the portions, especially the mac & cheese and fried okra, which were lukewarm.
Overall, I’d say it’s a decent stop if you want to keep it convenient... but don’t expect too much! 🍽️
