A peer and I were working in New Orleans and wanted some food Cajun food.
I’m from the south so I’m super critical on restaurants that claim they serve good Cajun food.
After eating dinner at Trenasse, I would recommend them to anyone. I had the trio with Crawfish pie, shrimp and grits plus trout.
Two of those three were AMAZING! The trout was good but didn’t quite hold the line like the other two.
The service could have been a bit better but it wasn’t terrible.
I will for sure be going there again.

We initially chose this place because it was close to our hotel and the other restaurant we had intended to go to had a 45min wait.
Honestly - it was a good thing we ended up here as Trenasse provided the best dining experience we had on our four day trip - so much so we ended up eating here for dinner twice! The service is incredible, helpful, and very friendly - they were very accommodating to our large group which included a toddler.
The food itself is incredible - we especially loved the oyster platter.
If you happen to be in the CBD area - this place is a must!
