Very sweet waitress, sorry I didn't get your name. She made me comfortable as I was by myself.I absolutely wanted to try the crab cakes. And well I wasn't disappointed.Very good and fresh and that sauce, damnit 👌🏾 sweet and caring service I really appreciate as I work in customer service myself.Very decent price.I had a look at others customer's plate and everything looked absolutely tasty and smelled divine.I wish I had spent more time to try more things. Thanks again
Very low key restaurant that did what it needed to do.Serve good food and fast during lunch.I had the Muffuletta on French.Very tasty sandwich.Good size.Didn't need a side.Waitress was organized and helpful with explaining the specials.Try it and decide for yourself.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mena's Palace in New Orleans' French Quarter, and it was a delightful experience. There was a bit of a wait outside the restaurant, which seemed to be a popular spot among locals and tourists alike. This added to the anticipation of the meal. Once seated, we were quickly attended to.Our orders were simple yet classic breakfast choices.I had the two-egg breakfast with eggs over easy, accompanied by fresh tomato slices and wheat toast. The eggs were cooked to perfection - a seemingly simple task, but one that many places get wrong. My companion ordered a similar dish, but with eggs sunny-side-up, white toast, and sausage.Again, the eggs were impeccably cooked. We also tried the French toast, which was a standout dish.It was wonderfully custardy, a delightful twist on a classic. The only drawback was the wait time for our food, which was longer than expected, likely due to the restaurant being quite busy. This, however, is a small price to pay for the quality of the meal. Overall, Mena's Palace offers a no-frills, yet thoroughly satisfying breakfast experience. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a hearty start to their day in the French Quarter.
