Authentic.Very good. The food was very authentic and tasty and it was all cooked and seasoned very well, I only gave 4 stars on food because the Jambalaya could have had more Sausage and Chicken and less rice. The New York could have been a better cut of meat also. The crab in the Lump Crap Beignets was not ‘lumpy’, was more ‘shredded’ (which is my biggest complaint of most ‘Lump Crab Cakes’ I try) there was this one place in Chicago…….Anyways it was a great experience overall, I will go back.
This place is wide open and plenty of fun images and seating. Large variety of food and drinks to choose from on their menu.Definitely on the pricey side for some casual foods but it is in a tourist area. Staff are very friendly and quick to serve.Overall worth stopping in for a meal but not an everyday treat
I really enjoyed eating here! The service and atmosphere was very cajun and fun for us as tourists. The food was very authentic. And maybe not my favorite, but my husband loved it and I got to try a few new things I've never tried. The bread pudding was so damn good.I should have ordered that for dinner.Overall, great experience, great authentic food (maybe too authentic for my Colorado taste buds) and great location. It's placed about 5 blocks from the French Quarter. So if you want to get away, but still stay close- give these guys a try!
